Yes your right we should blame ourselves for our mistakes, and not dump it on religon or anyone else. Although Turks, Arabs and Persians have contributed. :D

Just my opinion.

Why do you want kurdistan to be pro-western? Why not pro-kurdish?:P Our own way, our own society, our own laws etc. Lets make it our own way. I don't like the western, turkish, persian influence in the free part of kurdistan. I mean we would just be like the arabs in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain. Dependent on oil and gas, with influence of the western world. I want kurds to drive kurdish cars. I don't want our free kurdsitan to be dependent on others, but right now sadly we have to:/.

It seems to you failed to read my post, I said "Its not the fact I want it to be pro-western". I just want it to be modernized. Islamism isn't Kurdish either. I don't want us to be like UAE where we waste our money and rely solely on oil. We need to expand in heavy industries, cars just as you say. I don't know why you say I want to be pro-western, we don't want to be isolationists and not have any relations with the west, same goes for the east. Self-suffiency isn't always a good thing, in politics and economics. But your right, it would be good to drive our own cars 8)

no they should do what the USA does. They send an agent to every single mosque and every single meeting and every muslim school. If the agent hears something threatening he tells his supervisor and then the supervisor writes a letter to the mosque, school or organization letting them know they are not allowed to say that or they will be closed. It works. Its not secret either. its made public who the agent is. if the agent is attacked the orginization member go to jail. This method would be most effective because no one can fight and say its anti-islamic. this method is anti-terroristic and still allows normal peaceful krg members to talk with each other. closing it without reason would be un-democratic and would be disrespectful to krg folllowers.

Yes, i failed. Of course you want it to be modernized, we all do. Turkey is a good example sadly in relationsships. Both western and eastern. Yes, islamism isn't kurdish either, i hope it never will be. I wanna put religion away and only focus on the matters of the country. Just like the asian countries, where a large population is not religous, this is very good for the economy and it is good in a way and bad in way for politics. I think nowdays religion takes to much space especially for the Middle eastern countries. Exactly, heavy industries. The majority of the kurds are all very young, those are the one we have to focus on, we can also always send them away to study in a foreign countries in a mass number as the chinese, and then take them back, and they will help educate our youth.

reversed while 90% do not vote for them and around 70% vote for Barzani and Talabani. I wouldnt say that just because on some websites mainly voted by members of yegirto the votes are reversed.

yeh I think its not the fact that southern Kurds support the Salafists or whatever you call them these days, but I suppose theres not that much of a variety of politcal parties in Kurdistan. I suppose if there were more people opening up politcal parties in Kurdistan, then it would be different outcome.
