As far as I know death sentence still exist in Iraq . Keep in mind that it is a federal issue according to the law , so it is based on the Iraqi constitution .

Most states in America still have the death sentence

Is your concert that SK might still hang people, or is your concern about the way the death sentences are carried out?

Many countries retain the death sentence, some like Iran have public hangings, others even allow public stoning

my concern is hanging people i want sk to have the exact same laws as canada then it will be a better place to go

Does Canada still execute murderers? I am not sure whether it is the hanging or the execution you are opposed to

In UK murderers are given a few years in prison, rewarded with social housing, and allowed to kill again

Social housing rules: If a person makes themselves intentionally homeless they forfeit the right to Social Housing. In my mind, if someone commits murder or any other crime whereby they are imprisoned they have made themselves intentionally homeless.

However, if someone has killed another person when they are released from prison they go to the top of the list and are given social housing ahead of people who have been on the waiting lists for YEARS.

There is a report of Amnesty International about executions in 2011, but it is stupid : they mixed Iraq and KRG that is the same rule at all.

Canada is a dictatorship with little or no difference that Saddam's one . Make one mistake in Canada and you are done for life , so the notion that Canada is a peaceful country is a big misconception .
