The important thing is that Western Kurdistan is a part of Kurdistan
that we should not forsake or ignore this fact in any case;
for whoever forsakes one part of Kurdistan,
will one day forsake the whole of it.

For a great many years I have been referring to those in Western Kurdistan as the FORGOTTEN KURDS as Kurds in other regions knew very little about them, or in fact about any part of Kurdistan apart from their own area
