Does erDOGan have any need to grant Kurds rights

What do YOU think?

KURDISH RIGHTS IN TURKEY

Several years ago:
EU insisted that in order to continue with Turkey's application to join the EU - Turkey has to give many more rights to Kurds and other ethnic minorities living within it's borders
Nothing changed

2007 Turkish elections:
erDOGan promised those same rights to Kurds
Nothing changed

Ocalan peace Plan
Yet again Kurds are being promised EXACTLY THE SAME RIGHTS
And yet again nothing changed for the better

BUT

Things have changed:

We should look at the reasons why erDOGan wanted to suppress the Kurds

erDOGan wanted to be the leader who got Turkey into the EU
Due to the economic collapse of many EU countries - most people in Turkey do NOT wish to join the EU

erDOGan wanted to be the leader who got Turkey the Olympics
Tokyo was selected to host the 2020 Summer Olympics in what was considered a safe choice

Now that erDOGan has lost his two main reasons for granting Kurds rights - why will he so so now?

Turkey have all but silenced Kurds
Ocalan has been used to manipulate Kurds
Murat Karayilan questioned what was happening and has been replaced
Vast increase in village guards
Increase in Turkish military installations on Kurdish homeland

Turkey has no reason to grant Kurds any rights
