Curfews were declared in 8 villages in Amed's Lice, Hani and Kocaköy districts.

Amed Governorate declared curfews in 8 villages across Lice, Hani and Kocaköy districts.

In its statement, the governorate said that the curfews were declared in order to provide the security of civilians in the Güçlü and Gömeç villages of Lice district; Kırım, Gökçe, Yayvan and Soylu villages of Hani district; and Yazıköy and Şaklat villages of Kocaköy district.

The curfew will take effect at 05:00 on November 13, 2016, and will continue until further notice.

We all know that Turkey has inflicted a great many curfews upon innocent Kurds - sitting in their own homes - on their traditionally KURDISH land

From what I understand, such curfews normally restrict peoples movement outside the home during the hours of darkness - how is it even possible to start a curfew at 05.00

I think someone must have the time wrong - has anyone any information on this?
