The following picture is taken in Kermashan university during a meeting of students with Karroubi, one of the presidential candidates in the upcoming election in Iran.
It reads:
Berxwedan Jiyane
The word Berxwedan is distinctly Kurmanji which is not spoken by the local population in Kermashan. The slogan itself is a trademark of PKK/PJAK.
It's amazing to know that Kermashan region has been penetrated by this movement, something that the traditional Kurdish parties such as KDPI and Komala have failed to achieve over the last 30 years.

Yes.
The same is true even for Ilami Kurds.
As for Laki Kurds of Luristan, they are since recent years extremely returning towards Kurdish culture.
