as you may have read in the topics in the forums, facebook is discriminating kurds ,
http://rojbash.info/forums/viewtopic.ph ... t=facebook

I am working on a new compagin on Roj Bash Kurdistan, about Facebook, I am also gonna buy google adwords (google advertisements , so anybody search for facebook can see our ads )

it is probabbly gonna be rojbash.info/facebook
or rojbash.info/stopfacebook
or rojbash.info/wakeupfacebook
if you have a better idea about the name of the campagin tell me

I am not sure if we should make a Facebook page or a Pettition (pettitions are kind of old style) we may better create a facebook page or a google plus page , so our fans go and Like it ? (tell me your idea about this too)

I am gonna chime in $50 to buy google ads, if you guys wanna help to buy google ads , we do accept donations .
some of you may have goodle ads coupon codes, those are accepted too .

if you guys also know people in Kurdish medias, and kuridsh TVs to cover our compagin, that would great too !
Let make facebook respect our homeland and our Kurdistan !

another idea just poped into my head,
how about we named our compagin LikeKurdistan
Rojbash.info/LikeKurdistan
or
Rojbash.info/FacebookLikeKurdistan

we can make a open letter and a link to Facebook contact page, that anyone who visits our compagin page , copy/paste the email and send to facebook thourgh his/her own account to facebook adminstrators.

if anyone of you help in a Short Official Nice open letter it would be nice . (may be arround 100-150 words)

thanks a lot, this is such a painful picture to look at , I cant belvie such idiots actualy exist.
is that ODesk ? the company's name ? the funny thing is, it says any attack on AtaTurk! that is so stupid, ataturk is responsible for killing of millions of humans, every human should be allowed to crticize him, we need to find the company that published and make them appologize. if not should contact medias.

first we need to find out if this is Correcct information. and who is ODesk

here are some extremely funny part of the document :

I highly suspect that the guy who wrote this thing is a Turk
International Compliance/IP Blocks:
Photos AND/OR text making fun of/attacking/depicting negatively/criticizing, Ataturk.
Burning the Turkish flag[other flags are ok to be shown burning]
Maps of Kurdistan [as of now, only maps are escalated; other references are merely confirmed]
Holocaust denial[any discussion of holocaust denial that contains hate speech should be escalated]

in the last page of the document, there is an email,
could someone email this guy and ask him, why burning any country's flag is okay except turkey and why only kurdistan map is forbidden ??]

For heval Dyaoko request i post my PM to him, maybe it will help:

We already kept a big campaign at the beggining of this year - when we use twitter for example - but all these are hopeless. Nobody never win with facebook about any case or issue. You can write millions of letters - and there will be no result. There was already some articles in media about this anti - kurdish policy, but as i said - no result.

We also found out that a lot of moderators on facebook are turks - my account was deleted 4 or 5 times within 2 years, last account was blocked about 3 times for few days - i was forced to remove some pics connected to Kurdistan (our other hevals was forced to remove even KCK flag pic).

Facebook is in favour of turkey - and struggle against them is like trying to convince Nato or USA to say "No" to turkish fascist policy toward Kurds. Of course - you can try, we can try - but personally i think its wasting of time - as it comes to negotations with facebook itself. We can try to find another path - through human rights or any organisation which handle unfair internet policy (racist policy).

I was having a quick read and it appears that:

The Turkish government intended to ban facebook
http://allfacebook.com/facebook-ban-turkey_b20367

Turkey has Turkey 27,315,800 Facebook users
http://howmanyarethere.net/how-many-fac ... are-there/

Facebook is banned in several countries
http://thenextweb.com/socialmedia/2010/ ... e-exactly/

I am SORRY that I could not find more recent information for the above

Turkey to ban Twitter and Facebook 4 September 2012
http://www.neurope.eu/article/turkey-ba ... d-facebook

It would seem that Turkey gave Facebook a choice to either ban certain information concerning Kurds
OR
Be banned in Turkey and lose 27,315,800 Facebook users

Facebook decided to comply with turkey's demand to ban Kurdish posts
AND
Keep it's 27,315,800 Facebook users
