What does Hawar mean?

You are right kak Dyaoko but "yanê" is Arabic. In Kurdish, you have to say "wate" (english spelling: wata)

True true, kak Heval...

But I have a little suggestion. In Kurmancî we say "An kû" - or "Yan kû" - which is the same as "yanê"... But "yan kû" and "an kû" are just further mutation of "yanê" naturally...

Still - in Kurmancî it is "original" to say - "yankû" or "ankû" - in some dialects they say "ango"...

I agree, though... It originates from Arabic... But adding the "kû" kind of makes it a legitimate Kurdish word!

Like many other words which are a fusion of Kurdish and Arabic words... Like for example: "Paladin" - "Holy Knight" - which is the Kurdish word "Pale" (Servant/worker) and the Arabic word "Deen" - "Servant of Religion"...

Ne Kak Dyaoko, wekû "yanê" bikarî mehêne...

Ger detewê bipirsî, "xica yanê çi?", bêje "xica çiye?" yan "watey xica çiye?"
If you want to ask, "xica yanê çi?", you should instead say "xica çiye?" or you can say "watey xica çiye?"

I will give you an example conversation for another way you may use "wate":

Person-A says: Pir rinde.
Person-B asks Person-C: Watey rind çiye?
Person-C responds: Ew dellêt "pir rinde", ke wate zor ciwane.
