People often use other people's work without permission - I have had 2 hits in the English music charts but was not credited for either

This is intellectual piracy. You can take them to the court to force them to pay you every penny they made and pay your cost.

Not always easy - my mother was also a poet - as a teenager she wrote a poem that became world famous - it happens all the while - the only way of protecting out work is to self-publish so nobody gets the hands on it before a copy is lodged in the British Library

I copyright all my work now but it does not have to be changed very much for people to claim it as their own
