Are there no villagers in "Kani Masi"? I am just askig because this is assyrian owend land. The assyrian name for it, is the same what it means in kurdish.

Under whos permission are turkish bases there?....

Rumtaya , You are a smart guy , but sometimes you are so unrealistic :D , I will however answer you question although i'm sure you know the answer already .

For Turks to have a small base in southren kurdistan has absultly no meaning except may be for spying on the neighbours . They are not allowed to conduct any millitary action against any kurdish group .

Last year when turkish forces attacked PKK's Kandil base and zab base , these exact tanks and soldiers were stoped at Kani mas by KDP Peshmargas and were forced to return to the base and not participate in attacking PKK .

so Yes , we give a little to take a little , that is the way the world work . As for Authority , it is KRG and honestly no one care about taking permission form Assyrian because they simply do not have any authority in that region .

I hope that answers your question .

No you missunderstood the question. When I said under which permission I mean like did the US told them or the Iraqi Goverment or the KRG.

This base never participated in Attacking PKK , They tried to leave the base to join turkish army in attacking pkk last year , But the KRG Peshmargas blocked their way and send them back to their base .

are you sure they are closing this base ? do you have a link ?
