The charge stems from comments Tuğluk made at a rally two years ago for the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party, or BDP, where she said the government had “lit the flame of resistance” in Yüksekova, the southeastern district where the rally was held.
“They thought they could solve the Kurdish issue without Kurdish people... They also announced the PKK as a terrorist organization and they imposed the idea on us; they ordered us to betray our personality and our identity. They forced us to deny our culture and values. But we resisted and did not accept this dishonor,” Tuğluk said during the rally.
By the way there is still 12 kurdish mayors awaiting trial With With over 2,000 people being jailed as part of the investigation .I think by the end of the year we should see all kurdish politician in jail .
