
Ankara- The chief of US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), David Petraeus, will arrive in Turkey on Sunday to discuss Syria crisis and Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) increased developments into Turkey.
Petraeus’s plane will land at Istanbul’s International Ataturk Airport at 8 P.M ntvmsnbs said on Sunday.
There are no reports about the US official’s program in Turkey, but analysts believe US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Martin Dempsey, and President Barack Obama’s opposing ideas about Syria and Turkey foreign Minister Ahmed Davutoglu’s disappointment of recent UN Security Council meeting are Petraeus’s main reasons to visit Ankara.
Petraeus is expected to meet Davutoglu, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and National Intelligence Organization (MIT) Undersecretary Hakan Fidan during the visit.
