Guys, there's actually a very simple way to catch a member if any of you suspect that he's not a real Kurd.
Try speaking to him in the Kurdish language and see if he replies.
As for the Kurdish situation in Western Kurdistan, I said before that the Kurds should play it right and make sure that: a) both sides of the Syrian conflict keep second-guessing the Kurdish position, and b) both sides are made to want the Kurdish people on their side. That way it would be a win-win situation.
In my opinion it is already a win-win situation. If Assad stays, it appears the Kurds will get their autonomy because they've made agreements with him. If Assad goes, the Kurds will still get their autonomy because it also appears they've made deals with the opposition. This is what I personally think because I am continuously learning that the Kurdish people in Syria are mostly neutral.
Be optimistic my friends.
The Turks are trying to spread discourse and confusion between Kurds because they are beginning to shiver. If you notice, the Turks aren't as vocal as they used to be many months ago, primarily because they are realizing that their involvement in the "middle east spring" also means they will see changes in their own territories. It's chickening them out.
Stay hopeful and by God the Kurds will get their own country, whether the idiots in Turkey like it or not.
But it is vital, extremely vital, that the Kurds get their own independence in Iraq. They should make it quick. Kurdish independence in Iraq is a crucial first step. If Southern Kurdistan gets independence, Western Kurdistan will be next, and the two parts will join together. When this happens, the Turkey-heads and Iranians will sweat, especially the Turks.
Has to happen before Obama's second term finishes. Kurdish independence must happen before 2016, in Southern Kurdistan AND Western Kurdistan. They must join to become one unified country and then work on getting their independence in northern Kurdistan.
