Allawi was a Baa3th in the the movement's very early days before he found out their real bloodthirsty ideology and left them. He was hacked with an axe in his home in London by Saddam and his gang. Adel Abdul Mahdi of the Shia list and the current vice-president - same deal.

Between Allawi and Ja'fari I choose Satan. They are both arabs, they are the same to me.

It's hard to tell cause i dont know very much about both of them.
What is worse, somebody who has been a baathist but is at least a secular guy now or someone who wants to impose the shariat law on me?
i think during the last year Allawi as priminister wasnt really so bad, and since i dont trust this jaffari guy very much i'll vote for Allawi.

But don't you have any better men that these two ? Say a secular non-Baatheist ?!

yes there are others like ghazi al yawer, ghassan ateyia and others but I am talking about the biggest groups who ran in the race. I voted for allawi just because I was against the shia list and because i believe he is not sectarian like the other shia members.
