First of all, Zurderer, her Kurdish roots are but words... She is most definetly a French-Iranian, though...

And that is why she holds the views she does - which are much the same as a Persian's position...

Naturally many (if not most) Persians demand that Kurds are "theirs" - and that we in some way are more than just cousins in language and culture...

@Topic

It won't happen before Kurds are recognized as a separate ethnic group, Kurdistan as the official name of the Kurdish area and Kurdish as a separate and official language of Kurdistan region...

When these three things have happened, then we can talk about "brotherhood"...

perhaps Kurd are belonged to an separate ethnic group contrary to the other irani people but some countries are fake for example Tajikistan and Afghanistan they all are similar iranian people..they almost have no differences between them..
some european countries (as England) had created some borderies between them and tried to separate them only cuz of politics interest..

OF COURSE they are a "separate ethnic group" - Do you know the definition of an ethnic group? If not, please check it up... It will amaze you...

And you are wrong about Afghanistan and Tajikistan... Most of Afghanistan has mixed blood - from Turks and Persians as well as the Mongolians, mainly...

So much so that, if you look at two Afghans you'll find they look very different from eachother...

We know about Britain and France's plan to divide and conquer... Same thing happened to Kurdistan...

its depends cuz afghan infact doesnt means smth its baloch or pasthun some are less or more mixed with turks
but about tajiks they are almost not mixed with turks mongol, especially the Pamirs(only a few of them):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tajiks
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_peoples

in the chapter "genetics" u can see that all of those iranian people have a same iranian marker in common..from their indo-european roots..

if Kurds are now a separate ethnic group its cuz kurd had mixed with Caucasian (Hurrian) bvut before it Kurds were similar as other irani people..

Marie, the Hurrian (Caucasian) culture of Kurdistan was LONG before the Aryans came... The Aryans didn't realy conquer and establish themselves permanently in Kurdistan before around 2000-1000 BC... They came into Kurdistan and conquered the Caucasian Kurdish culture which was already established and practiced...

And by the way - Afghans are Pashtuns and Dari (Persians) - not Balouch... The Balouch are only a minor in the far south of Afghanistan... Their great numbers and lands are in South-East Iran and West of Pakistan...
