With this argument, why would Kurds in Iran refuse to be iranians (If Iran was a democray): they don't need their language, since the Iranian one is a superior culture, with such a great tradition, writers, poets, musician, film makers: they should be proud to be persians...

You see how it sounds?

So you’re a separatist like Kurds. I’ve respect for your “Breton-nationalism”. I read a couple days ago that Catalonians want to be mentioned as a separate nation too. Here in Europe is more diversity then I thought. We are spectators of the integration of Europe and at the same time, here in Europe takes place the regional disintegration. But please do not compare Kurds to Bretons. There’re 40 million Kurds, how many Bretons live on this planet? Kurds are fighting for thousands of years for the recognition and freedom against the Turks, Persians and Arabs.

It has never been "the country of human rights". In the aftermath of french revolution in 1789, the parisian government sent "death squads" to the rebelious west of France and to Britanny...around 5000 bretons have been drowned in the Loire River by a great democrat called Carrier. In the same time, declaration of human rights did not apply to Slaves in the colonies of course! Only for White people, speaking french....In the very democratic french convention, some deputies proposed that Brittanny and Alsace be emptied of their population, to force them to learn french language and break the national feeling.

When you know unofficial history, France does not look so good.

This is one of the reasons why I dislike French politicians and policy either. I’ll never forget how French people helped Arabs against Kurds. I’ll never forget when French sold Sadam Hussein French Mirages (stealth fighter) and many other weapons. How many Kurds did Arabs killed with French weapons. Maybe millions. (not only French, but dislike German, British, Europeans and Russian governments too). How many Kurds did Turks killed with European technology?
But I like French intellectuals and French language and of course French woman, hahaha.

1) i'm not separatist, I just said "I'm not french". Breton nationalists are deamers, at worse mad fascist guys (in the 1940's...).My "nationalism" is just the consciousness of being different and the love of the culture, music and history of Brittanny. But as you see it is not the only culture I am interested in

2) I did not compare breton to kurds, I gave an exemple of refusing to be assimilated even if the State Culture is great!

We're 4 millions by the way, plus 1 or 2 millions in emigration...(Paris, Canada, USA). Brittanny is more or less as populated as Southern Kurdistan

Tirigan : I have absolutely no Kurdish roots. I am a "pure" French with blood from Picardy, Burgondy, Brittons, Baskians, Gascons, Belgians, and Gipsies... and I am borned and grew in Ile-de-France (Parisian region). And I care of none of these origins...

But 12 years living and fighting with Kurds give me the right to have a Kurdistanî passport, more than a pure Kurdish blood who made nothing good or bad for this people.

In fact my secret ambition is to travel one day in Turkey, Iran, Irak, Syria, by showing a KURDISH passport, it would be so nice revenge !

By living in it and reading newspapers every day, that's not hard.

No, tomjez, I didn't say NOT very democratic,I said"one of the least democratic"which supposes to compare with the other countries,so you didn't answer to my question...which ones are more democratic than France?

Maybe there are in Europe,I don't know,if you know, please name them...

I mean that you can surely criticize France,I criticize Italy every day too,
but the others are not very much better. So depressing

But when I become the Queen of The Universe, I promise my Kingdom will be very democratic,ok? :D

Oh,not at all! Sorry, english is not my language, maybe I didn't express it properly.
I meant:I will be very democratic when I conquest the world and I rule it,becoming the emperor(no,for women..let me check in the dictionary:"empress") of the world. As I am a girl i wrote " Queen" instead of "King". It was just an absurd joke to mean: it is easy to just speak and imagine we would be better than the ones wo are now ruling in the world. I don't mean of course they couldn't be better, sure they could, but speaking is easier than doing things.
Did you get it now?
Regards, xxx
