Non-nationalist movement for Kurdish Rights in Turkey

PostAuthor: Djembe » Thu Jul 14, 2011 4:07 am

I realize that many here hard core Kurdish Nationalist with the agenda of utopia of United Kurdistan which takes big chunks from Turkey, Iran, Iraq and Syria. For a moment, I want to explore other options that excludes United Kurdistan option, another alternative for Kurdish in Turkey. OK, if those you have doubt about I am going to brainwash the posters here. Yes, that is exactly my objective. I want to brainwash. lol.

Here is the platform parameters that was inspired by Anarchism, Democratic Socialism, Social Democracy and Libertarian Socialism.

1. Definition of Nation. Constitution define the nation based on 'people' rather than ethnic group.
2. De-Centralization of Government services/power to local administration.
3. Cultural, Democratic, Political autonomy.

In my opinion, this is the most viable and doable solution for both Kurdish and Turkish people who would have a 'win and win' situation.

Such platform has great chance to be supported by more people. There are many socialists Turkish who would support such move. There is already block voting but it is still at the baby steps.
