Iranian Deputy Judiciary Chief Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi says the Party for Free Life of Kurdistan (PJAK) terrorist group is supported by European governments.

Raeisi told IRNA on Saturday night that PJAK operates under the protection and support of some European governments, criticizing Germany for granting refuge to PJAK leader Rahman Haj-Ahmadi.

He also called on Berlin to take legal action against Haj-Ahmadi, noting that the German government has failed to meet its international commitments in the fight against terror.

The Iranian judiciary official further stated that some Western countries trumpet their battle against terrorism, but support terrorist groups, which is an epitome of their hypocrisy and double-standard policy.

Last week, Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned the German chargé d'affaires to protest Berlin's harboring of the terrorist leader, and call for his trial.

On July 17, Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) disbanded a terrorist cell linked to the PJAK, killing at least five members of the group.

During another operation on July 25, IRGC forces killed 35 members of the terrorist group, and captured some of the PJAK members.

Iran has recently deployed 5,000 military forces in the northwest of the country along its common border with the Iraqi Kurdistan region.

Members of the terrorist PJAK group -- an offshoot of the Kurdistan Workers' Party -- regularly engage in armed clashes with Iranian security forces along the country's western borders with Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan region.

it is funny, PKK and PJAK are always blamed of being backed by Everyone
and the most funny thing is they are being fight by everyone too .

Turkey usualy says, PKK is backed by USA/ISRAEL/ KRG / and sometime they say by Iran and Syria
Iran says , PKK(pjak) is back by USA/ISRAEL/EUROPE/Devils/ ...
USA/ISRAEL/EUROPE lists PKK as terrorist and help fighting them by intelgence and aids and by arresting members in europe and usa .

so our fellow iranian and turks should make their minds , who is supporting PKK really ? :D let say something not in contradict with other words

The clearest sign of weakness in any leader is trying to blame others for the problems that beset your country. Everyone knows that PJAK is not supported by Europe, the US, or even Israel. But this is a symptom of most leaders in the Middle East and is evidence of the kind of weak, fearful, narrow-minded leaders that are in power around the region. Just like Assad blaming the uprising on the US. Just like mullahs blaming every single problem in Iran on outsiders. Just like Turkey blaming PKK attacks on the West. Just like Arabs (and other fools in general) blaming just about everything on Israel. The intelligent or open-minded people look on and say, "How the hell is Israel and Palestine related to you being a terrible leader?" The less intelligent / less educated people look on and say, "Down with [blablabla]!"

Very true, they keep claiming Israel and all these other european countries are funding and supporting PJAK, yet they have no evidence.
