I really don't know why the KRG is sheltering him, if he had the chance he would wipe us Kurds out.

I will tell you why. The Kurdish leadership has been dealing with the developments in the region very carefully, and indeed successfully! they have been very smart about the issues that surround them. Let me remind you, that once Assad is gone, the country will have a Sunni majority (which is what Maliki and the Shia in Iraq fear, which is why he has stepped up his anti-Sunni movements), The KRG is also aware of these developed and took on the 'neutral role' because they know that post-Assad Syria and post-Saddam Iraq will be at each others throats, now the KRG can take advantage of that by remaining neutral they will achieve maximum rights in both countries, to show the Sunnis in Syria the KRG gave asylum to the Sunni leaders which will strengthen the Kurdish bid in Syria. This is a very complicated situation and I will explain it in more detail when I got time.

Yeh that would make sense since Iraq is technically allied to Iran, and a post-Assad Syria will align itself to the other sunni factions/nations.

This iraq for you! , I swear they look like Zombies and what maliki gangs are doing remind me of what Saddam dogs used to do . I'm not trying to defend Hashimi here , he is nothing but a tool in our hand and should be used as such .
