Yes, that's how it is. Just go to an Israeli forum and you'll see but there are some of them that do actully care. I've seen some of them in Israel that are friendly and supporting. I also have a family there.

The majority of Israels compare Kurds (especially Northern Kurds) to Palestinians, and commonly tell the Islamic Kurds, that, what they do to Palestinians is not so different to what Turks do to Kurds.

The average Israel could not care less, and would only lend some sympathetic words to stick it to the Turk or Arab. Politics is different off course.

Yes, but what I can't understand is why didn't Shimon Perez mention the kurds. In Davos when he had a sort of debate with Erdogan. The last person in the world who should talk about cruelty against palestinians is erdogan.

Because it is all lies. Turkey lashes out at Israel to score points with the middle eastern Muslim population where as in reality the ties between the two are very good. I've said it before, and will say it again, the chances are that Israel will not recognize a Kurdish state (at least formally) because it will strengthen the Palestinian bid for the same title. In the past the Israel helped us with training/munition against the Iraqi government, and they may lend some support in the US (to a point that will not upset the Turks). We have to be realistic.

This can be illustrated from the article that was posted recently, where the Israel clearly conveyed the fact that Turkish opinion matters to them:

"No doubt Israel will support the independence of Kurdistan and probably be among the first countries to recognize the independence of Kurdistan, because Israel will not worry about the reaction of Turkey due to the strong ties between Ankara and the Kurdistan Region," says Ben-Meir.

maybe the israeli govt is not so pro kurdish as some might think , but the people are , JJ show me some other nation in the region that waved the kurdish flag before ??

There isn't any other nation that waved Kurdish flags. I don't recall ever mentioning that nations in our region were pro-Kurdish.
Anyways that picture is hardly proof of Israeli and Kurdish kinship. I mean as Ideas said does the average Israeli care? Probably not, in my opinion the Israelis are just using us against the Turks and Iranians.
