Which singer is that supposed to be, brother? This song entered "main stream" Kurdish culture thanks to Shivan Perwer - and then later Gulistan sung it... So everybody heard it at that time - 15 years ago or something...

Did you write the lyrics down by listening yourself or did you find it on the net?

And thanks for sharing it... :)

Aha... :)

I have some suggestions if that is okey:

Like "Bistan" is actually "Bostan"... And "Cinete"should be "Cenete"...

:D

Well u can say BISTAN or BOSTAN, depends on the dialect, in Bahdinan we say Bistan, and in the song they say Bistan, too  In Erivan the kurds also use bistan i guess.

Same with cinet or cenet, its an arabic word. pll with different dialects pronounce it differently

Definetly true...

But I was thinking in terms of a Standard Kurmancî...

In the song versions I have heard they never say "bistan"...
But then again - that doesn't matter when you write in Standard Kurmancî...

Like in Norwegian - in my dialect (Bergensk) we say "E" ("I") but we write "Jeg"... :P

The version I have is sung by Nure and I Love her voice and 'interpretation'. The words are almost identical except she doesn't sing the last verse.

The other song I have by Nure is Dilber and I would be very interested to hear other songs of hers.
