I was really enjoying this until 43 minutes into the film when I saw the little children SMOKING - obviously they smoke to imitate their parents and other adults - I was disgusted - by smoking themselves this is what people are encouraging their own and other people's children to do X(

Apart from having the urge to thrash their parents for the harm they are causing the children - the film is good.

Yol ? Palme d'Or 1982 au festival de Cannes. I remember I was in High School and we watched it with our teachers. At this time, if someone would have told me that one day I will go in that country and it will become my real homeland, I would have stared that mad people

Concerning the young smokers, do you believe that in 1970s-1980s people cared about tobacco dangers ? I remember some teachers smoking in their classroom and at the university students smoked also. And it was in FRANCE.

My first travel by bus from Istanbul to Diyarbakir : 23 hours of road, 23 hours of active smoking in the bus. At the end of the journey, my eyes were red as a white rabbit's and my voice hoarse as a frog's…

In the bus there was a young baby (4 or 6 months) who swallowed also all the smoke. No one cared. Things have drastically changed nowadays. Even electronic cigarettes will be forbidden in KRG.

That could explain why so many Kurds suffer from ill health :ymsick:

I have not seen many people smoking - perhaps it was the area I grew up in - do not ever remember seeing anyone smoking near a child

I suppose that I am lucky really because when I was growing up none of my friends smoked or drunk so I never tried either O:-)
