Now I am disappointed in Ceylan...

She has 2-3 Kurdish songs on her albums, why doesn't she sing this one in Kurdish too? Did she HAVE to make it Turkish?

That is disappointing...

They are selling our culture for a few bucks...

By the way, the Turkish version sucks... It's very ugly!

i am dissapointed in ceylan because she is singin kurdish like the turks!!

i know that sh ecan speak turkisch, but she is always pronouncing everything wrong, and this only to sell more exemplars of her album!!

my dad always says: fedî ar bike, tu çima nakeviya erdeya

Same with Alisan... But they are all like that... They pronounce the Kurdish "i" like the Turkish "i"... But they are very different in sound actually...


Anyway - could you translate your fathers proverb?

it is another word for fedî, (shame on you) and "tu çima nakeviya erdeya" is, i will try it with turkish: niye yerin dibine girmiyorsun?

it is very difficult to say this in english!

Makes little sense in English of course...
