Duhok FC renews contracts of five players

DUHOK, Aug.8 (AKnews)- Duhok Football Club managing board renewed the contract of five of its players due to their "effective" role, club's supervisor said today.

The contracts of Khaled Mushir, Burhan Sahyoni, Saleh Sadir, Hassan Zabun and Uday Taleb have been renewed for one more season, said Mohammed Saeed.

Asked about the chance of keeping other players, Saeed said "we will have negotiations with them to work out an agreement and prepare ourselves for the coming season."

Ali Wahhab, Duhok club's coach, said renewing the contracts will become a "good incentive" for the players in the remaining two matches of Iraqi League.

Duhok with 70 points follows Erbil (81 points) in the Iraqi League. Erbil was the Iraqi champion in the past two rounds.
