Kurdistan bodybuilders en route to Venice championships
ERBIL, June 7 (AKnews)- Three bodybuilders from the Kurdistan Region will participate in an international tournament in Venice, running June 9-11.
Sardar Ismael, Omar Faysal and Didar Hassan will represent Kurdistan, said Ahmed Majid Rambo, chief of World Amateur Body Building Association (wabba) in Iraq. Rambo thought the tournament very "competitive as the world's distinguished bodybuilders will participate in it. He added the participation in the event requires "a rich experience."
At the same time he trusted in the Kurdish delegation's "training and excellent bodybuilders" for winning good results in the event. Wabba, whose main base is in Germany, was founded in 1975. This year it established its branch in Iraq.
