Heval gyan just avoid him, I find this to very honorable and they should be treated with respect by every kurd. This is also symbolic not only for Ocalan. But what I do agree with Kak Cewlik is that if they also did this outside turkey the result would be much better. But if they manage to show the massive hungerstrike outside turkey to the world it would be great anyway. Lets hope for the best. People around the world will realise that 40 million kurds supports PKK's struggle against the fascist/barbaric state called turkey and will realise if PKK are so called terrorists then so are the 40 million kurdish supporters.

I know heval. But it seems admins are sleeping when Cewlik is spreading lies. I have pointed out numerous times. And it just sickens me that he does it in this topic too when people are hunger striking for out language and democratic rights.

It is also symbolic as you say, but the prisoners themselves said that their demand was to end Turkish oppression, legalize Kurdish language in courts and school and release all Kurdish political prisoners. Another demand is to end the isolation of Ocalan. Who cares which one is prefered first? These people are the ones sitting in prison. They are the ones hunger striking to gain the attention of all Kurds and international society. The word has already spread to most governments in Europe and the European Parliament. It is a very very clever move. When Europe says '' Look, PKK is only using military methods and not democratic''. Now, they can not say anything.

They do it only for Öcalan, this demands with Kurdish rights and Kurdish language is just decoration. They only want to meet with Öcalan, and Demirtas already say it, if Turkey allows them to see Öcalan, they will end this hunger strike. With such actions they just want to give Öcalan more power, who use his power to save his own ass.

Even if they would do it also for Kurdish rights, from a hunger strike only Tukrey will benefit.

And now many Kurds have brain damage forever because of this hunger strikes. Hunger strikes against a barbarian enemy dont work, Turkey must do nothink and Kurds will die or they will give up this hunger strike. Or maybe Turkey will allow the BDP to meet with Öcalan and the hunger strike will end, because it was just for him.

That's what the turks wants it to look like, that they only care for Ocalan and not their rights. Then you go to their sites read their news and belive in it. And they are succeding by blinding people like you and then you come here and spread their lies. Okey demirtas said something but don't take everything serious when it comes to politics, politicans says alot of things but don't mean it. I'm pretty sure they do this for their rights and Ocalan is just a part of it but the turkish media makes it look bigger.

Thank god kurds on this forum are waking up to Cewlik's Turkish propaganda on here. Its a wonder that admins have not done anything towards his lies.

exactly unitedkurdistan! Turkish medias want to make Kurds look ridiculous by saying they only do it for Ocalan. In this way they will portray Kurds as naive people and at the same time remove focus from the other elements of the hunger strike. Namely the education rights in Kurdish and human rights and release of Kurdish prisoners.

And to those who do not see the effec of hunger strikes. Go look at IRA, South Africa, India... You mean to tell me those were not effective? Just because this is PKK doing it, all of sudden it becomes non-effective.

I want you people to look at how much this fascist article from Zaman resembles Cewlik's attitude

http://www.todayszaman.com/news-296449- ... trike.html

Look at how they are overshadowing the fact that the prisoners also hunger strike for Kurdish rights and how they say that Kurdish politicians dont go to demonstrations.

İbrahim Güçlü, a Kurdish politician and founder of the Rights and Freedoms Party (HAK-PAR), shared the letter with the Turkish media over the weekend. In the letter, the father, who wished to remain anonymous, said his son has been in a Rize prison for five years. “If the demands [for Öcalan's prison conditions] are so important, then why didn't Öcalan, who has been in prison for 14 years, stage a hunger strike, even for a day? Why don't Öcalan's siblings join the strike?” the father asked.

Very true, why didn't Öcalan stage a hunger strike? Like I said already, I dont expect that from a free leader, but I expect that from a leader who is in prison, who said that he was sorry and a half Turk, who lost his honor and have nothink to lose now.

You are not even denying that you have the same rhetorics towards PKK and Apo as the AKP-fascist newspaper Zaman? Well well, I did not expect much either from a HAK-PAR supporting Kemal Burkay-fan :) And then they add the '' I am a BDP supporter but I do not support this action'' part in the letter haha. What about the tens of thousands of Kurds on the last two days in Adana, Bursa and Elih supporting the hunger strike? Why do the newspapers never focus on the millions of Kurds supporting PKK instead of focusing on an anynomous single letter ( probably fictional and Turkish made) from a so-called ''BDP supporting Kurd''?

What is the point of this? These kurds are dying a slow painful death, and we all know turks won't do sh*t. Pointless!

You are very wrong. Everyone but the AKP and MHP fascists support the hunger strikers. This includes a majority of all intellectuals in Turkey including leading writers, journalists and other media people. Most Turkish and Kurdish singers and actors have shown their support for the strikers.

And sooner or later AKP will give in to one of the 3 demands:

1) Release Ocalan ( Highyl unlikely at this point)
2) Allow Kurdish language in schools ( Could be very possible as this is what most of the supporters are pushing for)
3) Release KCK prisoners ( Could be very possible too)

Most Turkish newspapers and commentators are saying that AKP should meet at least the Kurdish language demand so that the hunger strikers will stop.

Get an insight on the politics before you carecterize a noble act as being pointless.

Re: EU Commission for Enlargement concerned about hunger str

PostAuthor: Cewlik » Fri Nov 02, 2012 11:21 pm

KurdInEurope, you open for every news a new topic, because of that we have now 6 ore more topics just about the hunger strike. It would be much better if you would post all the news about the hunger strike in one topic. Its not only about the hunger strike, you open for every news articel a new topic even if we already have one topic for it.

Now we have so much tpics about the hunger strike:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10868

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10867

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10844

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10751

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10703

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10674

We need a mod who move the articels to the right topic.
