the sad thing is they call it iraqi film, for the last kurdish film , Turtle can fly, iranians called it iranian film and iraqis called it iraqi film...

but they better now that it is a movie from Kurdish Cinema..
Kurdish Cinema has made a "common" style for itself ....that is distnic from iraqi and iranian moveis....

they better learn to call our movies Kurdish Movies.... I made a comment on the Discusss section of the Yahoo news...you better do the same.

Kurdish movie is diffrent than Iraqi Movies...
Kurds have their own cinema...even kurds dont have their own country on map but in cultrual map they have their own culture...

the moviesl ike turtules can fly and killometer zero can not be called Iranian or Iraqi or Turkish...

They belong to Kurdish Cinma...

Yeah he is Kurdi. He is already a famous Kurdi actor. Haven't you guys seen that movie, "Journey to the Sun"? he is one of the stars in it. You should watch it, it is a great movie.

Does anyone know when you can see this new movie?
I'm looking forward to it and Hiner Saleems comments are great. I saw a interview on the internet, which was also showed on Dutch telivision.

Kassem : Güney's cinema is very hard, cruel, dark. The man was great, but it has much "Turkish aspects" in his work, in his personnality too. When he made "The Wall" he was criticized for having brutalized the young actors, for making them "really afraid", as in the movie.

But "A Journey to the sun is very differen"t, half-sad half beautilful story, in French we say "douce-amère" aka soft-bitter. It has not a bad sad end, there is a love story too, the movie has a great tenderness.
