Please can you give us the recipe for Aleppo soup. I hope it doesn't include frying.

Ha ha ! no frying sure :-D SOAP not SOUP. The famous soap from Aleppo. But they might also present recipes with oil, I will note them if they do.

I love that soap.I use it daily. Each time I sniff it, it brings me to Aleppo, Efrîn, Çiyayê Kurmanc…

Woah, seems that my weekly horoscope is aware of my chocolate diet :

The prestigious New England Journal of Medicine published a study with a conclusion we might expect to see in a tabloid newspaper or satirical website. It reported that there is a correlation between chocolate consumption and Nobel Prizes. Those countries whose citizens eat more chocolate have also produced an inordinate number of Nobel laureates. So does this mean that chocolate makes you smarter, as some other studies have also suggested? Maybe, the report concluded. Since it is especially important for you to be at the height of your mental powers in the coming weeks, Leo, why not experiment with this possibility?

You can find many on amazon, for example, orin any shop of natural hygiene products. You just have to know that the REAL Aleppo soap has no oil palm, no perfume, etc. Just made with OLIVE oil and LAUREL. It is brown-green (the fresh is intense green and the old one brown as earth but both are fine). It is very healthy.

Get in touch with Syrian Kurds, Efrini are all involved in Olive Oil. The problem is that they produce it but it is hard to reach them in their mountains. Lebanon medium, perhaps.

I'll ask a Norvegian passport. then :D

Oh silly me. I was always wandering why the picture of the soap with the conference publicity. This explains it. I thought it must be a sort of olive oil soup.

By the way, it has come to my mind many times to make olive soap for sale and I have checked many recipes. The following is a link from google. I think I will give it a try for my own use.

Natural soaps like the Aleppo one are great. With any other, my skin is dried and tight. Now I have to find a natural shampoo recipe for it seems that artificial shampoos are poison.

A few minutes ago I was reading the first chapter of a second book from Dr Hiromi Shinya. He talks in length about the link between the state of skin and intestines, or rather the skin reflects the state of intestines. On that basis, you may be better off by giving priority to your intestines by concentrating on a plant-based diet, some times with fish. This means for the start you have to give up dairy products, meat including the lovely roast chicken legs, fried food, oxidised food and have to drink only good water at least well-filtered, if not ionised.

That remind a joke : A man goes to the doctor and asks him how to do for having a long life. The doctor said : "…mm Easy. Give up wine, good meals, women, cigars… Drink water, eat vegetables, make sport."

The man sighs then says : "So… If I do all these things, I will live for a long time ?"

And the doctor answered : "A long time ? I don't know. But be sure that your life will seem exceedingly long to you !"

I was about to mention the same story but it is a bit different. In the other version the patient is sick because of his high life. So the doctor advices him to sleep early, give up drinks, smoking bla bla bla ....etc. In reply he said to the doctor: 'Just tell me to go to die'.

By the way, you have also to give up your lovely French wine, which is the worst.
