I am tired of seeing KurdInEurope waving his winners cup in the air

I WANT TO WIN

QUESTION:
I have never played backgammon before I tried in on RBK
Sometimes I manage to beat the computer

BUT
I do NOT understand the scoring
Why do I sometime have a high score? And sometimes a low score?
How does the scoring work? ? ?

you win if you eat all your stones ( aka move the stones out of the board)
hence sometimes you win (you eat all your stones) but your opponent was was close too [let say he had only 20 more moves to finish ] so your score is 10
so if you opponent is so behind you and he has like 100 move to eat all his stones . then your score is 100

I can NOT beat him either he is so good in this game I have been playing since the release, I couldnt get a higher score than him, really good job, Kak KurdInEurope

dyaoko score: 12 points, Anthea score: 74 points.

I thought that was funny as it was the FIRST time I have played knowing how the scoring works
