Turkey must become Turan you know! Let the Turks fight the Chinese. Then they are finished. Chinese are much better in assimilation politics..

If you can't win.. sent in 2 million poor Chinese. Problem solved.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

The problem is that Turkey has nothing in common with Central Asia ! Uzbek, Moghols, Kirghiz, are real Turks ! They belong to an old Turanian-Persian-Chinese culture. But how many Turks have really Turkish blood in their vein ? Most of them are grand sons of Greeks, Armenian, Arab, Kurds.... etc. And Anatolia is not Turan. Their greatest problem is that since 1923 they have learned a false history at school. Now they repeat "we are European", "We are Turan's sons", but in fact what is Turkey and what are "Turks" ? They have a serious problem with their own identity.

That's why they also say.. "I am glad to be a Turk" .. etc.. and put it everywhere. Even on mountains.. in Kurdish places.

And no - Welatêmîr, you cannot make news of it - although the idea was good...

Turkey is a shitty country with a lot of un-educated fools living in it...

I won't be going back too soon - and if I am - it will be North Kurdistan... Not West Turkey... :P

HER BIJI TIRKIYE!!!

You just did not met the right people! It's like going to France and only meet FN (fascist) people or crazy guys in the suburbs!

I'd say there is a majority of fools, but enough good people to make it a nice country 8)

By the way the last time I heard a Turk saying me : "Here (Silvan) is not Turkey but Kurdistan" it was in the General staff of Police station  ... And both policemen in Hasankeyf told too : "here there are only Kurds and Arabs, not Turks except us."

But the more people are far from the real ground (Turkish diaspora and even people living in the West) the more they are narrow-minded. When you live since 10 years as an Official in Kurdish areas, you know the reality.

Zor supas Goran gyan...

And to our Francoise

Excuse me, but I know very well what Turkey is made up of... I am focusing on the negative sides - you are welcome to focus on the positive sides - yes there are positive sides... Don't be blinded by my one sided stories... I am after all ME - and not a MHP fanatic... Nor am I an AKP fanatic...

Well my point is - Turkey is more bad than good... It has more stupid people than smart people and it is based on more evil than it is on good...
