The Bible

There is only one verse in the Bible which gives us a hint of where we the ark came to rest, "the ark rested...upon the mountains of Ararat." Genesis 8:4. Where is Ararat? The name Ararat is a large area or ancient country covering eastern Turkey, western Iran and western Russia, as shown in yellow below.

Well... Those areas - North of Wan were in older days inhabited by both Armenians and Kurds... This is shown by the map I have posted in the thread " European Races"... Look for it... It is very revealing... And from statistics I have seen it is clear that there wasn't a CLEAR Armenian majority in these areas (north of Wan)...

But either way - Ararat is refered to parts of the Zagros and Taurus mountains too... Not just the ONE mountain called Ararat...

Hmm, I saw it on a Turkish travel book. :?
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Yes vladimir. Turks have nothing to saw so they saw to travels just the other civilization.

By one side the ararat, pondus and kurdistan.
and by other side, Greek lands and civilization (they have demage the 90% of ancient things) they saw, Ayia Sofia and much more in Constantinople, in minor asia the Smyrna and other ancient there, so by down is the Assyria/Syria. and now they want to include Cyprus? haha, thats proof the crime :-p.
in the center of anatolia they can saw the Ankara, real a persian subject, but with the years they saw as is them :-p

..."cuz there is NO patch for the turks Stupidility". hehe

Note: there are many nations into the Anatolia, that nations are too small, and mongols seljuc turk destroy them civilizations.

all that on are FACTS.

Turks have settled in Anatolia for 10 centuries (after the battle of Manzikert).

So basically 1000 years, a bit less. Constantionople was conquered 1453, 550 years.

How long must a people live in a land for it to be its land? If after 1000 years you consider it is not their own...Sumerian or Hittite could clame that Greeks colonized Anatolia and that they have nothing to do.

With you're "logic", kurds must evacuate most of the land they own, because they expanded a lot in their history. URFA was a greek city. Back to Greece?

Alexandria was founded by Alexander, so you're going to tell arabs that they have nothing to do here? ALL EGYPT was part of the Seleukian empire founded by makedonian Seleukos. So is Egypt Greek (or macedonian  ).

and these are FACTS as you say...

For greece, what remains of former population? Acheans, Mycenians and Dorians invasions stole their lands  and these bastard colonized minor asia, and they destroy the city of Troy...IMPERIALISTS!

They colonized Scicilia, and the south coast of "France". As a french I hate greek colonizators

And oh, Galates colonized a part of Anatolia in 310 BC and beat the greeks! Being a celt, I could ask a part of anatolia for my people as well.

According to other traditions, Ark is located in Mount Cudî (Cizirê Botan). There is even Noah's grave in a mosque in Cizre (very modern and very ugly building).
