100% polyester. This fabric has a great metallic look and shiny to it. It's great for bras and belts but can be used for other pieces as well. This lame' has a satiny back and softer feel.

They must be rich!
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Check out her new collection - Delkash RULES! She is cool...
I am almost done with the info for my own site...
Had some stagnation because of the university and all...

I just made a comment on another thread that might have been more appropriat here.

I love the Kurdish men's clothes. They are quite flattering and attractive and so distinctive. Especially the peshmerga uniforms. . . when they are immaculate, they are quite handsome.

I don't like this business of changing peshmerga into BDUs.

Obviously you have a narrow minded view on what is and what is not Kurdish...
You guys sound like you have been all over Kurdistan and seen them all -
but in fact I bet you have not been to ALL of the areas and seen ALL of the Kurdish styles...
When I am done with my site you can go and read about Kurdish fashion/history and look at my own collections -
(which by the way have MANY NON-KURDISH outfits - at least the first two collections - my last collection is VERY ethnic...
And the first one isn't so much ethnic)...

Kurdish fashion has evolved - just so we have that clear... So what you see on fashion today isn't representative of Kurdish fashion as a whole - but as a contemporary part!

i agree with bamerni
some of her things are not CUTE and they really dont resemble kurdish clothes....i understand she's a designer and she is re-inventing kurdish dress but one of those dresses looks like she got it of a princess barbie..( i really hate that one) but she does have some cute dresses my favorite is the peach dress with the gold "kotek"...i love the detail on the bottom of the "sar-daleng"... another thing i heard she sells each dress for like 300 dollars! i think that is really over-priced...

oh yea diri i wanne see what ur designs are like........:D
