I dont have much info about PKK but I know they are the only group who have army to fight in northern kurdistan , and I also know that Turkey will not do any Effective Reform for kurds without pressure .
the ciritics about Apo are right , he has said really stupid things (if it is really his words , then he is stupid)

Very good question. Öcalan has said many many things during 20 years, in the same funny and crazy way, all in contradiciton each others.

But a high ranked PKK member told me that Öcalan gave an interview, dated from 1995, when he was in Syria, where he explained all what he was going to do and say if he were arrested... and he has respected all his program...

Öcalan has always said that his person is more important than everything, and especially Kurdistan. I've heard some young militants saying before his arrest that a Kurdish state was nothing, they want a "revolutionary state" (they mean a PKK state), whenever it set, even in Belgium ! Kurdish identity was nothing.

And PKK militants had to learn that all former Kurdish nationalists (Qazi Muhammad, Mustafa Barzani, Sheikh Saïd, etc) were nothing but traitors or feudals, or stupid ppl comparing to Apo the Light of the World (I don't even speak of Masud Barzani and Talabani who are the DEVILS for Apo).... Well if we consider how Qazi Muhammad and Shaikh Saïd died, we could guess why öcalan find them "stupid". They died as honest and brave leaders, ready to be killed but caring of Kurdish ppl's safety...

Öcalan has ALWAYS said the exact contrary : "First of all, MYSELF ; secund, the PKK... and at last, but really at last, Kurdish people." I don't even know if Kurdistan has a place in his mind.

By the way this man is nothing, just a poor megalomaniac, like Ceaucescu, Pol Pot, etc. He would not have any kind of importance, but he is a useful tool for Anti-Kurdish Turkish miliraty circles... and that is a trouble. As Dîrî said, no other Kurdish party could emerge as so long as the PKK and the Turkish services collaborate to crush any democratic movement among Kurds. That is the sad truth. If you are a sincere and democratic patriot in Northern Kurdistan you face 2 repressions and threatening of murder : Turkish nationalists and PKK. (and mafia, which works for both sides).

His former main lawyer, Ahmet Zeki Okçouglu told me (it was during his trial), but I'm sure that he said it many times before and after, and if you hear PKK demonstration slogans, they say the same thing. Öclaan is very sincere, he never hide it !

Egid, I can understand your point of view of how PKK is helping Kurds in turkey and they are the only help, but think about it. Would you want someone like Apo to lead us? He is a dictator. He is as dirty as Saddam himself. How many PKK soldiers died while he was in command? hundreds and every one oof them died for Kurdistan.

How can Apo help you now? he's locked up and it's saddening because us Kurds have made enough mistakes and we cannot act so irrationally and make any more. Angry Kurdish mobs brainwahsed into thinking Ocalan is the way will not help us. Kurds need unity from all four parts and when he starts fights with Barzani, we should know that it will only tear us apart and weaken us.
