todays iranians dont speak the same language as the persians, still they are their decendants.

Todays southamericans dont speak the same language as their old indian ancestors.

Kurdish and Indo-iranian do have great similarities. Dont talk about things you dont know anything about, just because your turkish people are a mix of every culture in the world doesnt it mean others are. Kurds don't consider themselves European anyway...

But SOME Kurds do consider themselves to be Western... In e.g. part of the same mentality and lifestyle as the one seen in the West...

But that is not true for Kurdistan, since there has been very little progress in the last 90 years because of oppression from the occupiers...

language is for ETHNICS (=peoples) important. as example: WITHOUT kurdish the kurds never exist, therefore the turks want to kill kurdish and zazaish. language ist the importantest thing that a ethnic exists. ( i mean true ethnics and not people as brasilians etc.)
