It is the older Kurds who has messed things up for the younger one

I liked my plan - I am not an expert on design - the council liked my plan

685

All lovely and open plan which is what customers want nowadays

Main seating area on the right could have been roped off in the evening - allowing the takeaway to continue for a few hour longer

They had more detailed designs with all the measurements - they had the marketing plan - the business plan - now they will probably lose the shop  :ymsigh: 8-|

Exchange of emails with the publisher of Beyazidi, concerning the cover. I sent some old pictures of Kurdish tribesmen. He likes one taken by Joyce Blau some decades ago, a handsome Kurd in traditional clothes of warrior, holding a rifle. But he asked me if illustrating a book about Kurdish habits and customs by a man in arm would not be too 'strong' (violent)?

I answered that Kurds are proud of their fighters and that History and current times shows that they are right to be. War for Kurds is 'noble' because they don't slaughter unarmed people, women, children. That Kurds are in love with their peshmergas. And that now, no one (except ISIS) can see a negative message in an old picture of a Kurdish fighter.

So we could hope a handsome and shy and brave Kurdish warrior on the cover :D

Just saw the photo :D

VERY HANDSOME :x

In fact strikingly good looking :-*

Was he a well know Kurdish leader?

I could imagine Kurds following someone who looks like that

Much better looking than a certain well known Kurdish traitor

I hear rumours that Ocalan is about to sign another agreement denying Kurds their rights - have you heard anything about it???

All the agreements he does with the MIT are secret, so I don't know. But as he said recently that the peace process is re-starting, I suppose Erdoğan got what he wished.
