As an employer - I have always supported the ideology for the best qualified and experienced person for the job being the person to employ. I also support the right to employ whoever one damn well please - its no business of anyone else but the business owner who he/she employs - if I do not like someone I am not going to employ them be they white - black or green
.Job application forms should only contained a person's basic contact details - and their qualifications and experience in order to be selected. Leave out age - gender - and ethnicity so that people will be solely accepted for their qualifications and experience NOT some government quota that has to be met.
I want someone who fits in and and gets on with other members of staff - should they be point of contact - someone who dresses smartly - speaks clearly - is always polite and friendly - if someone works for me then during working hours they represent me and my organisation
