Well, I do hope to visit there in the next two years so hopefully someone can help me out one day. I had a very good teacher a very long time ago but cultural differences seemed to separate us. I am determined to learn Sorani and visit her in Iraq one day to show her that I was able to finally learn it.

I admire you for that :ymapplause:

Hope you receive the help you are looking for - do not give up

I am sure that you will enjoy yourself in Kurdistan - even if you have only managed to learn a few words before you go - I am absolutely certain you will meet a great many people there willing to help and encourage you once you are there.

The people of South Kurdistan are the warmest and friendliest people I have ever met :x

Hello again jjsora

If you are in England and anywhere near West or South London I have a friend who will teach you Sorani :D

Anthea, can you get that individual(s) to join us here on the site? Or online via some other medium? (ie Skype, etc.) I am not in a huge hurry since I do have a bit of time left before I anticipate going there. But if possible, I would like to do a little bit at a time daily until I go there. I am nowhere in that area of the world at all unfortunately.

@ jjsora

I am not sure that this particular friend of mine actually comes on-line - I will ask him for you :D

I suggest you tell us what country you live in - then perhaps someone else will be able to help you :-D

Thank you for offering, piling. My questions are about grammar mostly. I would assume they will be complex for non-natives or for natives who have not studied both advanced Sorani and English grammar.
