Hello. So I found this forum couple of days ago and I have read it with great interest. My own questions belongs to someone I just met, only for two months ago. He is a Kurd, I'm not. He has some shades of his personality I'm interested to know is this common.

He is very sweet, honoring and feels like a good human. He goes to work, he has his own appartment and he seems to like my homeland a lot and plans to stay here. He seems quite shy person when we first met, after he told me about his family, ice was breaked and he started to smile and relaxed.

Somethings I'm a little curious, and I feel I need to ask. We met through datesite, and now he wants me to delete my own profile. And for reason he told that everyone can see me, and that's not good. That's reasonable and I understand. I still doesen't think that we are actually dating seriously and that brings the other question:
He wants us to be engaged.

Is this common that Kurdmen are this fast with their movements? Is there anything I should be worried about?
After I read this forum I was a bit astonished. I read so many negative comments about Kurdmen using western women. I wouldnt want to be used in any way, so I'm asking for your help. Is there some signs I should be wary of?

The first question is, "Does he have the right to remain in your country?"

If the answer is "NO" then forget him

What part of Kurdistan is he from?

Kurds from different parts of occupied Kurdistan behave differently. The Kurdish men from Turkey often behave the same as Turks and treat European women as sex objects

But there are some lovely genuine Kurdish refugees from Turkey - many have lost their homes/families - some have been imprisoned/tortured

Did he come from a small town/village or large city?

Most Kurdish men from small towns marry their cousins - or other family members - at a very early age. If he is from a small town he is probably already married

Kurds do not believe in sex before marriage. If they enter into a sexual relationship with a European woman he will probably NOT marry her

Most Kurdish families do not want their sons/daughters to marry Europeans

Kurds are a very warm friendly caring people - I would suggest you get to know some of the women and learn about them
