Hi :D Everyone
I've not been on here for a while. I was away in Mardin for part of November & then went back again mid December until last week, so in the meantime I forgot my password to get on here . I did the email for a new password & its took me ages to get it to work :?. Anyway I got married to my wonderful Kurdish man on January 8th at the local registry office, must say it was very informal, just a case of typing some info into a computer & a medical at the local hospital then that was it really. However the day before that we had a Kurdish wedding at his families house, as I couldn't understand what was being said, his uncle stood in for me. We then had a gathering afterwards, where we ate "sheep, rice & naan bread" followed by "baclava" think thats how you spell it :?. His sisters dressed me up in a big dress & people came to the house to wish us luck & pin little gold coins & notes to my dress. I must say all of the people I met whilst there, have been the most friendliest, polite & welcoming people I have ever met. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will get a visa to come here, i miss him so much!!!.
