I wish I knew who made that map.

The Japanese aren't really that good with politics. It is their one weakness. They are good with economics, technology, and even military tactics. But they suck at politics.

Yeah... I don't think they realize Kurdistan doesn't want to become an Empire.

A federation and to be a part of that federation is more of a Kurdish Goal than to become a new oppressive force.

This map is based on the Kurdish demands at the UN's first summit in San Fransisco in 1945/6 or so...

And no, it's not as "inaccurate" as you might think... It's actually almost the exact same as this map, which shows historical Kurdistan:

However, personally, I do not agree with this map - as it no longer can be representative of Kurdistan...

But "half of Iran" actually used to be Kurdistan once upon a time...

Balci - are you or I going to decide that?

It's not about what we "need"... It`s about what we want and deserve...

If there are Kurds there who wish to be part of Kurdistan, who are we to tell them "No"?

That isn't logical, you know...

;)

yeah yeah, But we already have shown how much land we require, and we aren't going to go into more conflicts with land, I just want us to have what belong 100% to us, nothing more.

Okey...

Well that's gonna make things worse after you said that - because WHO is going to decide what "belongs 100% to us"?

Do you see that what you are asking for as a maxime, in fact cannot be an objective maxime, since everybody will have a different oppinion?

In my oppinion, Kurds can be happy with having Colemêrg... It`s definetly 100% Kurdish... But I am not so sure about other parts of Kurdistan... (Get my drift?)

yeah, but we are going to have a federation after all, not a new empire.

Balci - essentially, you and I are saying the SAME thing... I too want to keep what is KURDISH - and not what is not ours... BUT you are overly simplyfying the matter - and when you are faced with the consequences - in e.g. my question - you just ignore it...

Try to see the OTHER side too...

Are you going to decide where Kurdistan starts and ends? That is for the people to decide... Amed may be a nationalist Kurdish fort - but the same cannot be said about Dîlok, Hemedan, Heseke or Xaneqîn...

But you are not being responsible at all... You're just shoving away the possibility that perhaps all the land in the Japanese map (and the one I posted) indeed may be Kurdish inhabited - who wish to be part of the Kurdish struggle for recognition... :)

Those who live in the other areas may be arabified, iranified and turkified anyways. And, we should take ONE step a time, and secure the most Kurdish cities first.

Yeah, I agree that we should secure what we can first - but there is a typical tendency to not go after anything else after one has gotten "something"... Often refered to as a "compromise" - and on who's lives? Those who didn't fall into the category "secure what we can" - because they are a little Arabized, Persianized or Turkified...?

That sounds very sad to my ears...

But "the truth is painful"... Right?
