Saet bash û jiyan xosh! (Good hour and good life!)

Ewe nameyek ji bo zarokên Kurd û Kurdistane. (This is a letter to the children of Kurd and Kurdistan) Ewe gotinên Kurd û Kurdistanin. (These are the words of Kurd and Kurdistan) Ewe gotinên zarokek Kurd û Kurdistane... (These are the words of the children of Kurd and Kurdistan)

Em, Kurd wekû milletek ji bo azadî, serfirazî û serxwebûn kardikin. (We, Kurds as a nation have worked for peace, victory and selfdetermination) Bi sedan sala em zarokên Kurd bo Kurdistan sher, deva û kar dikin. (For hundreds of years, we the Kurdish children have fought, advocated and worked for Kurdistan) Sal chon û neman, Kurd wek her chax bê gûman û hezar mixabin, wek zarokên êytîm, yên bê mal, kes û kar... (Years passed, Kurds as always, regrettably/sadly (were like) orphans, without a home, friends or work...)
Emin Kurd û emin Kurdistan. (We are Kurd and we are Kurdistan)

Ji bo wextê rizgariyê re em chaw didin ser zarokên xwe. (For the time of ("untill the time of") freedom we will face our children) Em bi hêvîdarin kû ûn, bo Kurdistan serbilind bibin. (We hope that you will be proud for Kurdistan) Bab û daykên me bo Kurd û Kurdistan her shewitîn, her demirin û her dê bichin bin axê... (Our fathers and mothers always burnt for Kurd and Kurdistan, and they will keep dying and keep falling into the (ashes of the) earth...)

Sala 1920, Kurd, bibûn millet li ser peymana Sèvres. (In 1920 Kurds became a nation through the Trety of Sèvres) Ewe peymana Kurd û Kurdistan bû. (This treaty was for Kurd and Kurdistan) Chi car bîr neken ûn Kurdin - û Kurdistan heqqê weye! (Never forget you are Kurds and Kurdistan is your right) Bûye char perche dilê min, wekû Kurdistan... (My heart has like Kurdistan been divided into four parts...)

Xwîna Kurdistanê li ser destê dijmin maye - bibîne... (The blood of Kurdistan remains on the hands of the enemy - look...) Ji bîr neke! (Don't forget!) Bi hezaran Kurd wekû shehîd hatin kushtin. (Thousands of Kurds have been killed as martyres) Bi hezaran ketin ber kimyabaran. (Thousands fell to "chemical rain") Ji bîr neke li wan kulan! (Don't forget those sufferings/pains!)

Ji bo pasherojê dixwazim rizagrî bo hemû xelkên bindest û bin zulmdaran. (For the future I wish freedom for all the peoples that are under occupation and (under) oppressors) Bizane kû ew zulm û zora wan rojek dê rabît û namabît! (Know that one day their oppression and force will vanish) Ew roj, pêwîste kû Kurd doza xwe bîr neket. (That day, it is important that Kurds don't forget their cause.)

Ew roj, Kurdistan dibe yêk parche... (That day, Kurdistan will be one piece...)

Well, thank you... It is sentimental... But what can I do... I was asked to do it in Kurdish - and it made an effect on me since it was about Kurdistan and Kurds...
