Hey Ghassemlu and Sharafkandi were not killed by Iranian services in France

but the first in Vienna and the second in Berlin. They did not live in France I think. They have just solemn funerals in France, with many personnalities (not only Kurds).
BTW their murdering is sad but everybody thought that they were so naive to believe Iranian promises and went to negociate with their services, without any bodyguards nor guarantees... The worst is that after it happened to Ghassemlu, his successor, Sharafkandi made the same mistake, and accepted to meet Iranians in a restaurant, and was killed in the same way

Ahmet Kaya was a Kurdish singer who was very popular in Turkey... until he claimed to be a Kurd and wanted to sing in Kurdish. Then he faced a nationalist campaign in Turkey and fled.
Yilmaz Güney a Kurdish cineast in Turkey. He has had the greatest award in Cannes for "Yol". He has been imprisonned in Turkey (it was during the military outsch), then went to exile in France. He was one of the foundator of the Kurdish Institute. He died of a cander.
