Exactly - matters regarding Kurdistan... :)

I have no political persuasion, therefore I am interested purely from a humanatarian perspective. I must confess that I knew very little of the plight of the Kurds, but have learned a great deal recently by listening to my friend. He has opened my eyes, once again to the horrors of our world - which I tried to shut out.

Well, I am very glad that you are here and that you care to learn about our struggle and aspirations, past and present and culture... :)

We Kurds are a resiliant people - who've, despite Turkish, Persian and Arab assimilation policies, stood the test of time... We preserved our culture, language and legacy...

Now we wish for the world to hear about it and to learn a lesson to from it... We would more than anything like for the West to support our political struggle and to aid us in our battle against ethnic-cleansing/assimilation and discrimination based...

Thank you... Your presence is of great importance - and it matters... Now - one more person in this enormous world, knows of our plight and struggle... :)
Not only one; I am making sure that my children, their friends, and my friends are educated.

By the looks of things, it won't be long before Sean Connery (SCOTTISH), LOL, will be making it known!!!

Hahaha - yeah I LOVE Sean Connery! :D He is a great actor... And I love him even more for his patriotic sense of Scottishness... :P

Are you serious? Hehehe The day Sean Connery promotes our struggle - I will personally sign up to be his body-guard... He'll be needing some - as the Turks won't be too pleased with that news... :P

Is your signature Gaelic? It is, right? :D And what does it mean?

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say he's a great actor, lol.

Apparently there is a Hollywood film, called "Brukan" being filmed later this year. Sofia Loren is to co-star. check it out.

Yeah - isn't that the one about the Kurdish clan??? :)

I know about that one...

Is Sean Connery gonna play in it?

Well - in my oppinion, he does a good job... 8)

And I like Celine Dion - whom I know also is a bit of a "hated-loved" type of person...

If you know about it, why did you seem surprised? Is it because it says that it will be tracing the history of the Kurds, but it actually isn't; only that clan?

As far as I know, he's going to star in it, as that's what I've read.

You are entitled to your opinion, even if it is rather tasteless, re: Celine Dion.

Thanks! 8)

No I was not aware of that... Didn't know Sean Connery would be playing in that movie... I am HAPPY! :D :D :D

Hey, like they say in Norwegian; "Taste is like the butt - it's divided/parted!" Hahaha

I think it's about some parts of Kurdish history - and particularily about that clan's history... Hopefully other matters too...

Well, there's no accounting for taste, as we say here,

Norway is a place I've wanted to visit for about twenty years; maybe I'll get there one day. Where are you living there? It looks like Scotland on steroids, lol.

I'm not sure what the film will really be about; I came across it while trying to find info for my friend.

I've just googled Bergen, and you're not wrong; it is beautiful.

If I ever get there, I would be honoured to have you as my guide. :)

Hi.

You're Italian? How did you come to be in Kurdistan? Where does your uncle live?
