Ahlan wa sahlan 7abibi... Welcome to Roj Bash Kurdistan!

Well - your name is obviously common - since another member of this forum is named "Sirwan" too... I'm sure you'll bump into him sooner or later...

So for practical reasons, I will refere to you as "Sirwan Q" and him as "just Sirwan"! :)

Wonderful! I'm very glad you wish to learn more about your heritage and background... Where in Kurdistan is your family from? Which town?

I'm a Kurd from Ûrmiye - East Kurdistan... My name is Sohrab - student based in Norway!

Piling and I are moderators here on the forum, so if you have any questions or requests, please, don't hesitate - we'll try to accommodate you! :)

Dubare (again) - xoş hatî (you come good = welcome in Kurdish  )

The "x" is pronounced as "Kh" (or "h" in "Ahmed")... :)

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

There will never be enough Cosmetologiers in London. London's very nice during the summer, but verrry dull every other part of the year. But its a good place in general to excel and stuff.

@kurdangel : you should, my sister's followed the trend of doing Law at uni, now shes realising how boring it is. Architecture is the funnest thing you can do in uni, there are no exams its all based on drawing or model making. I study at Greenwhich.
