Just wanted to say hello to all the forum members. My name is Zhala, my parents are from Southern Kurdistan so I am Kurdish through and through. Most of my family now congregate in Slemani although they are originally from villages close to the Iranian border. My reason for signing up to this site is to take advantage of the knowledge of fellow Kurds who can assist me in my writing on all matters Kurdish in order to build up my Journalism portfolio. I am in my final year at university and hope to start my career in the same way I started my life: Kurdish.

brendar, I am studying for a combined degree of English Literature and Journalism. So far I have been very impressed with the content on this website and it has already been very helpful!
