Mardin Artuklu University advertised for 500 candidates to attend non-thesis master’s program within the body of Kurdish Language and Culture Department of the Institute of Living Languages in Turkey. The advertisement for the academic year 2012-2013 was given following the instruction of the Ministry of National Education. Candidates to graduate from the one year program will be appointed as Kurdish teachers.
The non-thesis master’s program can be attended by graduates from the departments of Turkish Language and Literature, Social Studies, Turkish Language Teaching and Contemporary Turkish Dialects.
The program will provide education in Kurmanci and Zazaki dialects of the Kurdish language. Applicant candidates will be required to know at least one of these dialects.
The master’s program will also hire 500 more candidates in February 2013.
