So far I have been very lucky

As well as the more obvious flooding - the road surfaces have been washed away - there are enormous hole in the roads and on the pavements - these prove very dangerous as much of the time they are covered in water

The water is no longer fresh rainwater - it is dirty water contaminated with sewage
