What I hate the more about people who contact me in Library or facebook or wherever :

'Hi, do you remember me ? '


Most of the time, the answer is NO.

I see 50 new persons in one year, via the Institute or Internet. How could they expect I remember their PRECIOUS SHITTY EGO ? Moreover, in most of the cases, it is always for they ask me something annoying, tiring, concerning their OWN SHITTY BUSINESS.

I myself never expect that people remember me. I always introduce myself by : "probably you don't remember, but we met once or twice and I would like if you don't mind…"

ok concerning Kurds, most of the time I'm wrong, they remember me. Just because a French speaking fluently their language and managing the Library of their Institute is something you can remember.

But ALL THE SAME : I ALWAYS start from the step " I know you don't remember me and that is NORMAL'.

British companies seem weird

This morning, I receipted a big parcel, sent to my right name and address, on a big sticker. Opening it, I see a big toy :

I have never ordered it, I SWEAR.

So I opened it more largely and I found a order and on a smaller sticker the address of a French woman, living not far from Paris. I searched her phone number but she is not in the list.

So I sent an email to the company explaining the issue and telling that I could try to write to her but as Christmas is soon, I fear that it would be late.

And they just answer that :

What makes me perplexe is the last sentence : "we hope you get it someway". Am I suppose to fix their own mistake, find the real purchaser, write to them, while they have no intention to inform them that the toy won't be there for Christmas ?

I think children in the 'West' have far too many toys and parents waste far too much money on spoilt brats

I cry for the Yazidi children who have lost their homes and many of their relations - children who could now die in the cold of winter
