Turkish State Terrorism - Video

PostAuthor: Diri » Sun Dec 30, 2007 10:25 pm

This video is very embarrassing for the Turkish government/state:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOVQ6iGgyCM&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&hd=1

The acts of the police and jandarma are inhuman... It's disgusting how no democratic country has explisitly reacted to these incidents - and yet now they pretend as if these things never happened...

I agree, they're really inhumane. Why do you think there hasn't been any reaction or uprising about it?

This video is very old. It's a bit better nowadays.
The suppression of ethnic cultures and minority religious groups in attempting to forge a modern nation were not unique to Turkey but occurred in very similar ways in its European neighbours - Bruinessen.

Yeah... True - and that's what I thought when I saw it: Turkey's come a long way since those days...

But when the news about the 8 pupils who were banned from school for 3 days for drawing with Kurdish colors came out - I was not surprised at all...

So you see, Nuray - even the Turkish state has done terrorist acts such as these...

Just like the PKK has done terrorist acts...

But when does PKK stop being "terrorist" for you? Never? Maybe in ten years from now?

Then ask yourself the same about Turkey - which only yesterday was tramping on Kurds...

1991 sirnex or beyetussap.. or what the name is. Lots of Kurdish things were forbidden at that time.

Okay thanks :) I just wanted to put it in perspective. Still I'm afraid it won't take much for something like that to happen again.

Even if it were in 1971 - there is a lesson to be learned here:

What you haven't dealt with, follows you around - and is a valid point at ANY point...

So as far as I know - Turkey (the state) has never apologised or compensated the people it harmed through these types of terrorist acts...

I mean COME ON - the damn armoured vehicle is trying to drive over WOMEN and CHILDREN...

Diri, Turkey did worse thing like forcing villagers too and now giving them money as compensation. So your accusation is a little unfound.

By the way, why do you need to find videos from 1991 and sent them? We just entered 2008. Also, If you interested with past, why dont you show how PKK killed even children? I am sure you can find these pictures too.

Than we can compare it again.

This is not a pro-PKK website. So we can talk about that too. You mean the killed families of village guards probable.

Ocalan said it before: "Especially in 1997, under the name of an offensive against village guards, there were attacks on civilians, among them women and children, that should never have been the target of military attacks" (p. 130).

http://www.kurd.org/Zagros/Gunter2.html

It's true that PKK killed civilians too. Problem is that no one talks about the civilians killed by the other side and if you talk about that with Turks. They won't believe you.

well it is two sided story and If you talk about kurds, They will accuse Turkey for every problem and will say "No PKK did not killed civilians". Deep state killed them. Or such things.

It is called as propoganda war.

You've got the WRONG end of the stick here Zurderer... Hello... Waky waky...

I haven't "accused" anybody of anything... There is a video - and there is the truth: watch it with your own eyes... Nor did I say that this is the worst that has happened - which is ridiculous to say since millions have been driven from their land and villages, which were burnt down - brothers and fathers imprisoned and tortured - mothers and sisters raped and mutilated - tortured... These are far worse than pretending to try and drive over women and children - which is only psychological terror...

But you seem to think we're "out to get Turkey"... Well again: WAKY WAKY... This is not a PKK forum, Mr. Zurderer... Everybody is TOTALLY free to criticise and argue whatever they like...

And as Vladimir's post revealed: the PKK IS A PIECE OF SHIT (in my own words and thoughts)... Do you think I am defending the PKK? Why else do you try to prove that two wrongs make a right?
