It's "Xor" in Kurdish too... Also "Xorşîd" in both languages...

And it's "Xûşk", "Xwîşk" or "Xuh" in Kurdish for "sister", not "xweşk" which would be the same as "xweşik" = "good" - same as "xweş"...

And there is no such language as "Goranish"... If you are going to make the claim that "Goranish" is a language, then you should also make "Colemêrgish" a language - because there are more differences between Soranî and Colemêrgî than there are between Goranî and Soranî!

i mean with gorani as all linguists the hawrami language. yes, there are kelhurs and leks (southern kurds) who call theyself "goran", but they are not goran. also zazas in dersim do call theyself "kirmanc", are they kirmanc? no.

You didn't really get my point... In fact, my argument was much more clever than that. I said: Despite the fact that there are much bigger differences between Colemêrgî and say for example Rihayî - they are still considered to be the SAME dialect/language linguistically...

Anyway...

Bira "xwêş" can mean "sweet" too - it depends on context...

"Çi cî mal xweştir nîne" = "There is no place sweeter than home"... Just an example...

Because they have the same basis, linguists do know what they do. Hawrami (Gorani) is a own language. Southern kurdish dialects as Kelhuri or Leki are not Gorani. They are simply "Southern Kurdish". The linguists call Hawrami "Gorani". Also Kirmancki (Northern Zazaki) is not a Dialect of Kurmanci, while the Northern Zazas in Dersim callthemself "Kirmanc".
